Description

The machine is used for fleshing, i.e. mechanical removal of subcutaneous tissue from the flesh side of the hides. The machine may process especially leather heavier cowhide with a width not exceeding the working width of the machine.
The basis of the machine consists of a frame with attached sideboards and compact grinding bed, which with its construction creates the oil tank of the hydraulic system and the basis for the bearing bodies of the knife roller. Between the sideboards there are all working rollers. Feeding rollers (4) are mounted on the support in the top section of the machine by swinging way and they are continuously driven through the gearbox from the knife roller. Feeding speeds can be set by displacement of the V-belt. Position and pressing force of the rollers with anticorrosive finish are adjustable individually using the lever system with springs. The supporting roller (3) with the fleshing pad (6) and pneumatic hose (7) are attached to the levers of the cranked closing device. The working cycle of closing-opening the machine is secured by a linear hydromotor with shock absorber in dead centers attenuation in dead centres. The working cycle is controlled by a foot pedal with the possibility of automatic opening. The supporting roller (3) in the closed position is driven by the pinion from the feeding rollers (4). The fleshing pad (6) and pneumatic hose (7) are attached to the steel support so that uniform processing of hide with variable thickness is ensured. The large diameter knife roller rests on the antifriction bearings and is driven by belts from the main electric motor. The knives are sharpened by the grinding device where the support with sharpening stone (5) moves on the bed in reverse using the gearing electric motor. The hydraulic system serves for closing-opening of the machine, for setting the gap between the knife roller (2) and fleshing pad (6) and for increasing the preset gap during fleshing of the hide (1). The machine is provided with a safety bar over the entire working width in the machine operator´s area. All rotating parts are covered.
